Coaching Coordinator Leadership Development

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking an experienced Offeror to develop resources and facilitate technical assistance aligned to Ohio’s coaching model to build the capacity of regional coaching coordinators. The selected Offeror will develop a Coordinator Observation and Feedback Tool, a Coach Selection Toolkit, and facilitate four virtual interactive workshops. The Offeror will also provide up to fifty hours of technical assistance to coaching coordinators. The goal of this project is to provide high-quality professional learning supports and technical assistance to increase the skills and capacity of coaches statewide. • The project includes developing a Coordinator Observation and Feedback Tool to equip coordinators with a consistent, competency-based method for observing coaching sessions and providing actionable feedback. • The project includes developing a Coach Selection Toolkit to ensure consistent hiring and onboarding practices across the state. • The project includes facilitating four virtual interactive workshops to promote a shared understanding of the coaching coordinator role and foster statewide consistency in how coordinators observe, support, and develop their coaching teams. • The project includes providing up to fifty hours of technical assistance to coaching coordinators to strengthen their capacity to serve as “coaches-of-coaches”.
