Outddoor LED Digital Display Marquee

The City of Philadelphia is seeking bids for the replacement and upgrade of an outdoor LED digital display marquee sign at the Dell Music Center. The scope of work includes the removal and proper disposal of the existing digital display, and the installation of a new digital display on the existing structure. The bid must include the cost of the new display, removal, and installation. The bidder must supply and meet all award-selection specifications. The project requires a field survey prior to bidding, and the bidder is responsible for shipping and handling costs. The required date for the project is April 15th or 30 days from receipt of the purchase order. • The display must be a single-sided pylon sign with a top header that remains as-is. • The electronic message center must be 7’1”H cabinet x 9’7”W x 8”D. • The sign must be mounted to uprights as shown, with uprights being 6”x6” square tubes. • The current display is 36” from the finished grade. • The bidder must provide a complete technical submittal within 60 days of contract award. • The display must meet certain technical specifications, including a minimum intensity of 6,000 nits maximum light output, and a minimum viewing angle of 150°. • The display must be designed with service features that minimize potential bodily harm. • The manufacturer must provide a warranty against material defects in material and workmanship for five years from the date of shipment from the factory. • The manufacturer must provide a ten-year parts availability guarantee. • The display must be protected from electrical spikes and transients, and must have an earth-ground lug on the display.
