Concession Service for Horace Caldwell Pier

The Nueces County is seeking a concessionaire to provide services at the Horace Caldwell Pier located at I.B. Magee Beach Park in Port Aransas, Texas. The concessionaire will be responsible for operating and maintaining the concession building, providing services to the public, and paying a percentage of the gross receipts to the County. The concession building has recently undergone a $700,000 renovation and is equipped with built-in serving counters, vent hoods, fire extinguishers, public restrooms, and a large storage room. The term of the agreement is five years with a five-year renewal option. • The concessionaire will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of $5,000. • The concessionaire will be responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. • The concessionaire will be required to furnish and provide commodities and services at competitive prices. • The concessionaire will be responsible for maintaining the concession building and the surrounding area. • The concessionaire will be required to provide a report showing all total gross receipts on a monthly basis.
