Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to replace the existing walk-in cooler freezer combination unit with a new walk-in cooler and separate walk-in freezer at the Alger Correctional Facility. The project includes providing new LED lighting in units, removing and replacing the existing cooler and freezer remote refrigeration, and providing a new roof over the refrigeration components. The contractor must figure their base bid on the specified materials and equipment only, and no "or equal" or substitution proposals will be permitted after bid opening. The project requires a 5% bid guarantee, and the contractor must provide a performance bond and a payment bond. The project duration is 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
