Plumbing Installation and Repair

The Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract to provide Plumbing Installation and Repair at various WCPSS facilities throughout the district. The contract service shall be for a period of one year and shall begin July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027. The scope of work includes installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing equipment such as toilets, sinks, water piping, roof leaders, and hot water heaters. • The contractor must carry appropriate licenses as required by the state of North Carolina. • The contractor shall have adequate and qualified staff in order to provide WCPSS with the service and/or response time requested. • The contractor must be knowledgeable of piping schematics and be able to troubleshoot problems relating to these systems. • The contractor will have procedures in place for working on these systems and employee training will be kept up to date as per contractors’ requirements. • The contractor will utilize a Lockout/Tagout procedure when working on these systems. • The contractor shall be responsible for any required permitting and incidental supplies or hardware in order to perform any job tasks.
