On-Demand Rideshare Program

The City of Coronado is seeking a qualified provider to design, implement, and operate a turnkey, on‑demand rideshare service for residents and visitors within the “Village” area and optionally to the Coronado Cays and Liberty Military Housing. The contractor must supply an all‑electric vehicle fleet (including at least one ADA‑accessible vehicle), install charging infrastructure, develop and maintain an app‑based reservation and dispatch platform, collect and turn over all operational data to the City, and manage all staffing, maintenance, insurance, and reporting requirements under a firm‑fixed‑fee agreement. The contract is initially for one year with up to four one‑year renewal options, and the service must operate year‑round with extended weekend hours. • Provide door‑to‑door, on‑demand rideshare service (7 days/week, core hours Sun‑Thu 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Fri‑Sat 9 a.m.–10 p.m.). • Deploy an all‑electric fleet, including ADA‑accessible vehicles, and install required charging stations and off‑street storage. • Deliver a proprietary app/technology platform with City‑accessible API, weekly operational reports, and monthly invoicing. • Supply all drivers (employees), conduct background checks, ADA and safety training, and maintain insurance per City specifications. • Optional add‑ons: vehicle advertising, event‑specific vehicles, call‑center reservations, and fixed‑route service to the Cays.
