Section 125 Cafeteria Plan Administrator

The Leon County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive administrative services for the County's Employee Benefits Cafeteria Plan. The plan includes pre-tax medical, dental, and vision premium contributions, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for Unreimbursed Medical Expenses and Dependent Care Expenses, and voluntary insurance products. The selected firm will be required to actively participate in Open Enrollment activities and provide full administrative services for all eligible employees. The County is looking for a cost-neutral structure, and the selected firm must maintain strict confidentiality of all data collected. Some key responsibilities of the selected firm include: • Providing a comprehensive Plan Document and Summary Plan Description • Administering Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts • Maintaining accurate and secure participant records • Reconciling all funds transmitted to and received from the County on a monthly basis • Providing detailed monthly financial and administrative reports to the County • Participating in annual County-sponsored Benefits Fair and other informational sessions • Developing, producing, and distributing all necessary employee communications materials, enrollment forms, and educational resources. The County is seeking a firm with experience in FSA administration, claims processing, and customer service. The selected firm must be properly licensed and authorized to conduct business in the State of Florida.
