Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Management is issuing a sole‑source bridge order to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) for Administrative Systems Technology Officer Mission Support Services (ASTO MSS). The bridge provides continuous mission‑support services for NIH’s Office of Management, the Deputy Director for Management, and the Integrated Data Platform (IDP) while NIH completes a larger competitive acquisition. The contract is based on an unusual‑urgency justification (FAR 8.401(b)) and covers a six‑month base period (Sept 16 2026 – Mar 15 2027) with a one‑time six‑month option (through Sept 15 2027). The estimated ceiling is $7.14 M for the base period and $15.93 M including the option. The work includes eight performance objectives such as operational continuity, data modernization, IDP advancement, governance, financial stewardship, security & privacy compliance, and transition planning. NIH will evaluate the need for the option and intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the successor requirement in early 2027.
