Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, intends to award a sole source procurement for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center's annual Law Enforcement Training for 50 VA Police Service. The training requires the use of an indoor shoot house/Sims House training facility, training (mat room), classrooms, outdoor 7-50 yard range, and access to areas in early a.m. hours and after sunset hours.
The key requirements of the job include:
• Providing access to areas that allow for VA Police officers to complete the required firearms, active threat response, and ground defense recovery training
• Accommodating numerous lanes of rifle/pistol fire and allowing for open area movement
• Providing an indoor shoot house training facility, training (mat room), classrooms, and outdoor 7-50 yard range
• Ensuring access to areas in early a.m. hours and after sunset hours that could go to late evening hours
