EMS Cost Recovery Services

The City of Lee's Summit is seeking a qualified firm to provide EMS Cost Recovery Services, including software, implementation, training, and hosting options. The selected firm will be responsible for automated billing, processing, and collection of EMS fees and data. The firm must demonstrate experience in providing invoicing, categorizing, recording, monitoring, supervising, and managing an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) cost recovery program. The scope of work includes data collection, processing, and management, as well as security, insurance, and equipment provision. The firm must also provide reliable telephone support services and ensure complete and uninterrupted flow of service via backup systems and a Data Recovery Project Plan. Some key features of the scope of work include: * Providing electronic billing, collection, and processing services for EMS transport * Timely controlled collection processing and reconciliation * Depositing receipts daily in demand accounts owned, controlled, and designated by the City * Monitoring all billing and regulatory changes impacting reimbursements and adjusting the system to ensure regulatory compliance * Providing monthly management reports to the Finance Department summarizing the performance of billing operations
