Vehicle Towing, Storage and Auctioneering Services

The City of Des Moines is seeking a contractor to provide vehicle towing, storage, and auctioneering services for the Police Department. The contractor will be responsible for towing and storing vehicles, as well as conducting public auctions for the sale of vehicles. The contractor must have a minimum of two years of experience in commercial towing operations and must be able to provide proof of being in business for at least two years. The contractor must also have an adequate number of experienced staff to perform the requirements of the contract. Key aspects of the job include: * Towing and storing vehicles * Conducting public auctions for the sale of vehicles * Providing secure access to towing management software system * Maintaining accurate records of all vehicles impounded and released * Complying with all applicable laws and regulations * Providing courteous and professional service to the public
