Description
The Texas Department of Insurance is seeking a vendor to provide moving and relocation services for the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office. The selected vendor will be required to provide rental moving boxes or crates, disassemble, relocate, and reassemble metal shelving units, relocate storage totes, light duty storage racks, a freestanding desk and chair, and other related objects. The moving and relocation phase is expected to begin in early Spring 2026 and must be performed on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The vendor must also return to retrieve all moving supplies no later than ten calendar days following completion.
• The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel for the move.
• The vendor will be required to secure badge access for both the building and parking garage.
• The vendor will be escorted at all times by TDI staff.
• The loading dock is over 300 feet from the destination and requires a walkthrough.
• Quantities of items to be moved may vary due to revolving stock.
