The City of Worcester is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive brush and debris removal, waste disposal, electronic appliance removal, and property securing/boarding services for city‑owned properties over a one‑year base period. Work must be performed within 48 hours of notice, with rapid invoicing and photographic documentation. The contract includes a detailed line‑item price schedule covering vegetation clearing, large‑branch and stump removal, trash and construction‑material disposal, removal of various household items (electronics, mattresses, tires, etc.), and securing openings with plywood, polycarbonate, and locking hardware. The award will go to the lowest responsive bidder; three bidders have submitted prices ranging from $181,750 to $266,844.30.
• Brush/grass clearing (110,000 sq ft each for ≤18″ and >18″) and large‑branch/stump removal (500 cu yd).
• Disposal of debris, construction material, electronics, tires, mattresses, and other household items (up to 40 tons of trash, 1,000 cu yd of clean‑out).
• Securing/boarding of property openings using specified plywood, polycarbonate, and lock hardware, plus temporary fencing labor.
