Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified security firm to provide one armed guard to staff the Municipal Court building, operating weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with optional extended coverage to 9 p.m.). The contractor must use city‑provided metal‑detector equipment, supply all uniforms and gear, develop security procedures within 30 days, and handle all personnel management, including background checks and timely notification of changes. The award will be made November 25 2026, with service commencing January 1 2027 for an initial one‑year term, renewable up to three additional years. Proposals must be sealed and hand‑delivered or sent by certified mail by November 5 2026.
