Description
The US Navy is seeking information from vendors who can provide personnel administration services, specifically travel support, for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic Fleet (CNSL). The contractor will be responsible for providing customer service, handling travel authorizations and vouchers, and making travel arrangements for CNSL personnel. The contractor must have experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS) and be familiar with defense travel regulations. The period of performance is expected to be one base year and four option years, with a total of 66 months.
• The contractor will provide support for both the Norfolk and Mayport offices.
• The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that travelers complete their travel authorization documentation in accordance with defense travel regulations.
• The contractor will make all necessary travel arrangements, including identifying proper flights, hotels, and rental cars.
• The contractor will monitor and track both approved and unapproved travel.
• The contractor will provide subject matter expertise and support to Approving Officials to identify and resolve travel authorization and voucher processing problems encountered.
