Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a team to provide General Engineering Consulting (GEC) and Owner's Verification Firm (OVF) services for the I-75 South Express Lanes project. The project involves design and environmental services for the Pre-let and Post-let phases, as well as Owner's Construction Engineering and Inspection/Owner Verification Firm Services. The selected team will be responsible for providing project development deliverables, including conceptual work, special studies, traffic and revenue analysis, environmental documents, geotechnical investigation, traffic analysis, and support for major interstate interchange concepts.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Providing quality assurance of design during post-let, along with post-let administration, engineering, and environmental services for the Post-let Phase
• Performing oversight and compliance verification of the P3 Developer's design, construction, operations, and maintenance work
• Meeting the anticipated area class requirements, including statewide systems planning, urban area and regional transportation planning, aviation systems planning, and more
• Collaborating with key team leaders, including the Engineering Lead, NEPA Lead, Bridge/Structural Design Lead, Utilities Lead, and Construction Lead
• Complying with the restricted firms and qualification requirements set forth in the RFQ
