Upgrade To California Heating Equipment Model MODEL: 10’ x 5’ x 3’ SOLUTION FURNACE/2092 Drop Bottom Furnace

The DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is conducting market research to identify parties interested in and capable of supporting the requirement for upgrading a California Heating Equipment Model 2.0VVP-EH-60/60MHV Drop Bottom Furnace. The upgrade must include several components, such as the extension of quench and rinse tank rails, utility lines, and the provision of a stationary gantry stand and catwalk. The upgrade must also include the alteration of the PLC programming controls and verification of complete functionality. The proposed contract actions are for supplies or services, and interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice. • The upgrade must consist of the following minimum requirements: extension of quench and rinse tank rails, extension of utility lines, provide a stationary gantry stand rated for 4000 pounds with two electric chain hoists, provide a catwalk and OSHA compliant ladder, a new Honeywell Minitrend Graphic Recorder, and upgraded components to the limit switches. • The upgrade must include alteration to the California Heating Equipment Model 2.0VVP-EH-60/60MHV Drop Bottom Furnace PLC programming controls and verification of complete, proper functionality. • The upgrade shall be provided as turnkey and include IUID Tag, Installation, Shipping/Delivery/Offloading/Rigging, technical data, and Training.
