Epic Implementation and Training Services

The University of Iowa is seeking experienced Epic Senior/Application Developers to provide technical leadership and support for the development, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of EpicCare Ambulatory applications. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, 5-7 years of experience in application development and support, and experience with Epic specific healthcare enterprise applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with application owners and stakeholders, recommending technical design and procedures, configuring and customizing applications, and developing and maintaining detailed project plans. • Collaborate with application owners and stakeholders to identify critical functional requirements • Recommend technical design and procedures for new or revised applications • Configure and customize applications • Review and analyze system problems to identify solutions • Develop and maintain detailed project plans • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure recovery capability and stable performance • Travel to customer sites for sustained periods to support application implementation, upgrade, and/or optimization The candidate should have experience working with application owners and vendors, analyzing system and integration requirements, and demonstrating knowledge of basic project management. Epic certification(s) related to EpicCare Ambulatory is also desirable.
