Description
The County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) seeks a qualified nonprofit or public entity to provide comprehensive Caregiver and Youth Support Services (CYSS) for four program streams—Placement Stability Team, Family Urgent Response System, Intensive Placement Home, and Temporary Support Home. The contractor will deliver weekly support groups, case management, on‑call emergency assistance, and environmental safety support, primarily for high‑needs children and their caregivers. Service delivery is hybrid: the contractor supplies caregiver‑focused services while DCFS staff handle youth casework. The contract term is initially one year (June 1 2028 – May 31 2029) with up to four one‑year extensions, and the maximum annual funding is $1,406,365.68. Mandatory requirements include at least five years of relevant experience, nonprofit 501(c)(3) status, and prior government contract administration.
