Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Seqmatic for epigenetics sequencing services. The requirement is for non-personal services to provide whole-genome DNA and epigenetic sequencing for 30 and 60 samples, respectively. The sequencing will be used to understand and develop biomarkers for the health, age structure, and overall resilience of Rice's whale. The expected delivery date is within 30 days of sample receipt, and the contractor will be required to return unused DNA and retain sequencing libraries for potential additional sequencing. • The contractor will provide whole-genome DNA sequencing for 30 samples. • The contractor will provide whole-genome epigenetic sequencing for 60 samples. • The contractor will return unused DNA and retain sequencing libraries for 120 days. • The contractor will provide the sequencing services in accordance with the statement of work.
