CIO Search & Recruitment Firm

West Virginia University is seeking a qualified firm to provide search and recruitment services for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a Chief Data Officer (CDO). The selected firm will work with a Search Committee to advise and administer the searches. The firm should have experience in recruiting executive-level Information Technology personnel in higher education institutions, particularly those similar in size and complexity to WVU. The scope of services includes consulting, developing a recruitment strategy, identifying candidates, and assisting with the interview process. The firm should also have knowledge of the higher education environment and the complexities of Information Technology searches. • The firm will provide a comprehensive recruitment strategy to identify a qualified candidate pool for each position. • The firm will assist the Search Committee in the development of selection criteria and evaluate candidates. • The firm will provide market intelligence regarding salary and other compensation necessary to attract the best-qualified candidates. • The firm will develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to identify a qualified candidate pool for each position. • The firm will prepare communications and collateral materials, including position descriptions, search profiles, announcements, and supporting materials. • The firm will provide WVU with current market trends and general salary expectations for a university CIO and CDO.
