The Indian Health Service is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE), and other vendors capable of performing the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The survey collects patient experience feedback on care received during a hospital inpatient stay, and the vendor will be responsible for submitting clinical inpatient discharges data to the HCAHPS survey and quality assurance guidelines. The scope of work includes generating a monthly list of hospital inpatient discharges, performing data analysis, and monitoring emails and communications to remain current in compliance with participation requirements. The period of performance is for one year from the date of award, with four one-year options if exercised. Key considerations for vendors include:
• Demonstrating capability, experience, and ability to provide services
• Meeting the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE)
• Receiving at least 51% of the earnings from the awarded contract
• Conducting management and daily operations controlled by one or more individuals who are Indians
• Submitting a capability statement and the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form
