Oil Water Separator, Clarifier, Sump & Sludge Pumping Services

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking a contractor to provide oil water separator, clarifier, sump, and sludge pumping services at multiple locations within the San Diego Sector. The services include the collection, transportation, and disposal of sludge, mud, backwash, and wastewater. The contractor must have the necessary permits and licenses to pump out and dispose of water treatment plant backwash water to the City of San Diego. The contract will be for a base period of one year with four optional 12-month extensions. The contractor must provide a firm-fixed-price quote for all five years. • The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, parts, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, and management necessary to provide hazardous materials collection and disposal. • The contractor must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations in moving, handling, and transporting waste materials. • The contractor must be able to operate a waste disposal truck and vacuum truck to extract liquid and solids from wash rack sumps and dispose of waste materials in a safe and authorized manner. • The contractor must be able to pump out and properly dispose of water treatment plant backwash water to the City of San Diego for monitoring purposes.
