Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide up to two full-time experienced and qualified Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) and two full-time experienced and qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist with Polysomnographer qualifications. The contractor will work at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, providing services such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, patient education, and polysomnogram testing. The contractor must ensure that all personnel have met the qualifying criteria, including health requirements and possess valid licenses/certifications.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing respiratory therapy services to patients
• Performing polysomnogram testing and other sleep studies
• Educating patients and families on respiratory care
• Maintaining accurate records of services provided
• Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Complying with VA policies, procedures, and regulations
