Description
The State of California’s Military Department is seeking a qualified general‑building contractor to replace obsolete restroom and shower fixtures, upgrade an exhaust fan, and complete associated finish work at the Pomona Armory. The work includes demolition, installation of new commercial‑grade shower valves, replacement of three toilet stalls and one urinal privacy divider using solid‑plastic/HDPE partitions, installation of a roof‑mounted exhaust fan meeting minimum airflow requirements, electrical conduit replacement, and thorough cleanup and sealing of wet‑area defects. The contractor must hold a B‑class General Building Contractor license, provide all required bonds and insurance, and comply with numerous state socioeconomic and environmental program requirements.
• Replace four (4) shower valve assemblies and restore shower walls.
• Remove existing wood toilet partitions and install three new HDPE toilet stalls plus one floor‑supported urinal divider, including new accessories (paper‑towel holder, toilet‑paper dispensers, etc.).
• Remove existing rooftop exhaust fan and install a new ≥ 200 CFM fan with new exterior‑rated electrical conduit.
• Perform finish work, sealing, and final clean‑up; provide a one‑year warranty on labor and materials.
• Must attend mandatory pre‑bid job walk on 9/16/2026 and submit a single‑PDF bid package by 10/7/2026.
