Appeals Centralized Database System (ACDS)

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking contract support from a vendor with expertise in ColdFusion to provide comprehensive support and implementation services for the Appeals Centralized Database System (ACDS). The aim is to improve operational efficiency, refine customer engagement processes, and ensure system scalability and adaptability for future business needs. The selected vendor will be responsible for ColdFusion development, system and database administration, assisting in the transition to SQL Server, and upgrading to Windows Server 2019. The objectives of the project include updating and migrating the ACDS application, upgrading the server infrastructure, ensuring system integrity and security, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. • The contractor must possess advanced proficiency in ColdFusion programming and have substantial experience with SQL Server and the Windows operating system. • The contractor will be responsible for ColdFusion development, system and database administration, and technical support and troubleshooting. • The contractor must be able to migrate the ACDS application from Adobe ColdFusion 2016 to Adobe ColdFusion 2023 and transition the existing server infrastructure from Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 to Microsoft Windows Server 2022. • The contractor must ensure system integrity and security and troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently during upgrades or migrations.
