State Supervisor, KSB and KSD

The Kentucky Department of Education is seeking a qualified individual to provide assistance as a State Supervisor at the Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) in Louisville and the Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD) in Danville. The contractor will be required to interact with architects, engineers, and other specified construction and facilities management professionals to progress projects on time and within budget. The contractor will also be responsible for comprehensive long-term facilities planning efforts and will provide regular written and verbal reporting to the Kentucky Department of Education. Key responsibilities include: * Interacting with architects, engineers, and other construction and facilities management professionals * Providing comprehensive long-term facilities planning efforts * Providing regular written and verbal reporting to the Kentucky Department of Education * Serving as the lead on behalf of KSB and KSD for procurement of construction, design, and trades for capital construction projects * Coordinating communication of feedback and input from interested advisory groups and constituents related to facilities
