Description
Palm Beach County is seeking proposals to provide a qualified full-time onsite IT Project Manager (PM) to perform pre-implementation services and project management of the implementation of the Land Management System (LMS) that will support permitting, planning, inspections, zoning, and code compliance functions and interface with existing County technologies. The selected proposer will provide services for a thirty-six (36) month period, with an optional twelve (12) month extension. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing project management services for the implementation of the LMS
• Coordinating with County staff and stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Managing vendor relationships
• Providing status updates and reports to the County.
The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale IT implementations, vendor coordination, regulatory environments, oversight and management of land management systems, and subject matter knowledge in development services, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
