Description
The City of College Park is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive security services at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) and Arena. The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining a 24/7 security presence, providing event security support, responding to incidents, and enforcing access control policies. The vendor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience providing 24/7 security services at large-scale public venues and must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing private security services.
• The vendor must provide a minimum of licensed security officers per shift, with supervisory oversight.
• The vendor must maintain a backup staffing plan to ensure uninterrupted coverage during emergencies, absences, or high-demand events.
• The vendor must provide personnel with appropriate equipment, including radios, flashlights, and safety gear.
• The vendor must have the ability to interface with GICC’s surveillance and access control systems.
• The vendor must provide at least three professional references from clients with similar scope and scale.
