Charter Transportation Services for Solid Waste Tours

Pinellas County’s Solid Waste Department is seeking charter‑type passenger transportation (buses, shuttles, vans) to support scheduled educational tours of its Solid Waste Disposal Complex. The contractor must provide up to two vehicles per reservation, accommodate both wheelchair‑accessible and non‑accessible needs, and be capable of navigating paved, unpaved, and landfill roads. Services include reservation acknowledgment, weekly confirmations, on‑site driver coordination, vehicle inspection records, and invoicing per a 2‑hour minimum per trip with additional time billed in 30‑minute increments. The contract is a 12‑month agreement (with two possible 12‑month extensions) and may be renewed annually if needed. Preference is given to alternative‑fuel vehicles and those equipped with public‑address systems.
