Request for Information: Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS) Program

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is conducting market research to gather information from vendors on their capabilities to support the Voluntary Observing Ship (VOS) Program. The program collects high-quality ship observations to advance maritime safety and resilience. The VOS Program is looking for vendors who can provide services such as collecting marine surface observations, providing recommendations to supplement or improve the current program, and growing the number of observations. • The VOS Program is seeking vendors who can provide a minimum of 2.5 million marine surface observations yearly. • Vendors should provide information on their company's capabilities, socioeconomic status, and pricing for the requested services. • The Government is not obligated to award a contract based on this market research, and responses will be used to determine whether qualified sources exist. • The NAICS code for this RFI is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services.
