J065--VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Lab Equipment Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide maintenance services for laboratory equipment at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The equipment includes tissue processors, cryostats, coverslippers, slide stainers, embedding centers, microtomes, and slide printers. The contractor will be required to provide full service and maintenance for the equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance, and to ensure that the equipment is functioning in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. The contractor will also be required to provide documentation of all maintenance work performed and to ensure that all work is done in accordance with VA regulations and guidelines. • The contract will be for a period of three years. • The contractor will be required to have an established business with a fully qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE) and a backup FSE. • The contractor will be required to comply with all VA regulations and guidelines, including those related to confidentiality, non-disclosure, and privacy. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation of all maintenance work performed and to ensure that all work is done in accordance with VA regulations and guidelines. • The contractor will be required to have a valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
