Description

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of General Services, is seeking qualified contractors to provide Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for the state's executive agencies. The contract will involve the mounting and hook-up of EVSE, with the state performing the necessary site preparations and electrical infrastructure work. Contractors must have two years of experience in the commodity code selected and be licensed dealers/distributors of EVSE products. They must also demonstrate the ability to service the EVSE warranty and provide certified electricians for projects requiring electrical hook-up services. • The contract term is from the contract effective date to December 31, 2025. • The contract is open to local public procurement units and state-affiliated entities through the COSTARS program. • Contractors must provide accurate price quotes, including any ongoing or annual costs, and recommend EVSE products eligible for the DEP's Level 2 Rebate Program. • The contractor will be responsible for furnishing the requested services, including mounting and hook-up of the EVSE equipment, and providing EVSE servicing and repairs during the product warranty period.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this contract is difficult to estimate, as it depends on the number of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) units purchased by the state agencies and the prices quoted by the contractors. However, considering the scope of the project, which involves providing EVSE for the state's executive agencies, and the fact that the contract term is four years, the budget could be substantial. Assuming an average cost of $5,000 per EVSE unit and a total of 990 units (as mentioned in the Governor's Executive Order), the total budget could be around $4,950,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget could be higher or lower, depending on the actual number of units purchased and the prices quoted by the contractors.
