Janitorial/Housekeeping Services for Mississippi State Hospital

The Mississippi State Hospital is seeking a vendor to provide Janitorial/Housekeeping Services for its facilities. The services must meet all applicable regulations, standards, and laws, including those of the Mississippi Department of Health. The hospital is looking for a provider with proven experience and expertise in performing janitorial/housekeeping services, and who can duplicate a high level of performance within the allocated budget. The contract term is for four years, and the successful vendor will be required to provide janitorial services 365 days a week. The vendor will be responsible for coordinating all communications with the hospital through a designated contact person. Some key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Providing janitorial services as requested by the hospital • Coordinating all communications with the hospital through Tiffany Jefferson • Providing a minimum of 28 staff on weekdays and 12 staff on weekends to cover all 15 buildings • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and offices • Providing laundry services for hospital linens • Disposing of trash and recyclables The hospital is looking for a vendor who can provide high-quality services, meet the requirements outlined in the contract, and work within the allocated budget.
