Digital Sign Repalcements

The City of Wyandotte is seeking bids for the replacement of digital signs at two locations: the intersection of Fort Street and Eureka, and the intersection of Eureka and 3rd Street. The contractor shall remove the existing signs and install new Light Emitting Diode (LED) Electronic Message Center (EMC) signs, connecting them to the existing power feeds. The new signs must meet specific requirements, including being Daktronics Brand Galaxy Outdoor Electronic Message Center, with high-resolution display panels, and including a 5-year warranty on parts and a 10-year subscription to Venus Control Suite Basic. The contractor shall also provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, transportation, and clean-up costs associated with the new sign installation. • The contractor must have been in business for at least five years and provide a list of previous municipal or school sign installations and verifiable references. • The contractor shall not block any traffic lanes during installation and shall complete the removal of existing signs only after all new signs and associated mounting equipment are on hand. • The contractor shall provide all due care to prevent damage to adjacent lighting, grass, or flower beds. The project is expected to start on January 5, 2026, and be completed by January 31, 2026.
