Third Party Special Inspection Services

The District of Columbia Department of General Services is seeking a contractor to provide special inspection services for the Department's portfolio of projects. The contractor will be required to provide special inspection and material testing services in accordance with the District of Columbia Third Party Program Procedure Manual and the DOB Special Inspections Policy Manual. The contractor will also be required to utilize the DOB's Tertius platform for project registration, scheduling of inspections, and reporting of results. The contract will be for a base year with four option years, and the total duration of the contract will not exceed five years. The contractor will be compensated in a series of progress payments and a final payment, and the total contract value is not to exceed $950,000. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing special inspection and material testing services * Utilizing the DOB's Tertius platform * Providing daily or individual occurrence reports within 48 hours of site visits * Ensuring laboratory testing results are provided within 48 hours of sample collection * Completing all monitoring or testing activities in accordance with the project's baseline schedule * Maintaining a quality assurance plan and ensuring all deliverables are produced in a timely and professional manner
