Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information from potential providers of forensic pathology support. The FBI requires a trained medical examiner to provide forensic pathology services, including on-site case consultations, telephone conference calls, and consultations with investigators. The contractor will review cases, provide training and instruction, and assist FBI personnel with forensic pathology findings. The contract is anticipated to be a multiple-year contract, with a requirement of 0.50 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) contractor for 960 annual hours. The key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Reviewing cases submitted for FBI criminal investigative analysis
• Providing training and instruction to law enforcement personnel
• Assisting FBI personnel with forensic pathology findings
• Suggesting additional investigative techniques
• Advising and assisting FBI criminal investigative personnel with forensic pathology issues
