Description
The Illinois State Board of Education is seeking a single vendor to provide a venue, lodging, catering, and A/V equipment for the 2026 School Nutrition Programs Annual Training. The conference will be held on June 24th and 25th, 2026, in Central Illinois, with preferred cities being Peoria, Bloomington/Normal, or Springfield. The vendor must provide a main room that can accommodate up to 500 people, as well as three breakout rooms for up to 200 people each. The vendor must also provide catering services, including coffee, tea, and water, as well as a sandwich boxed lunch for up to 500 people. Additionally, the vendor must provide A/V equipment, including high-speed internet access, screens, podiums, and microphones.
• The vendor must provide a room block of 75 rooms, not included in direct billing.
• The vendor must provide a quote that encompasses all costs into one final total.
• The vendor must maintain insurance coverage, including general commercial liability, auto liability, and worker's compensation insurance.
• The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance naming the State as an additional insured.
