Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20), is looking to award a short-term contract to support generator and fuel testing and inspection for the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center. The medical center requires annual and triennial testing of emergency generators and fuel testing. There are eight diesel electric generators and nine fuel storage containers that need to be tested. The contract will be a 3-month award to meet an immediate need, with a follow-on competitive requirement anticipated for July 1, 2026.
• The contract requires testing of eight diesel electric generators with insufficient connected load, using a supplemental load bank.
• Nine fuel storage containers need to be tested as well.
• The contract is a high-priority short-term SDVOSB sole source contract.
