Concession Services at Simpson Park Pool

The City of Lakeland is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced professional vendors to provide concession services at Simpson Park Pool for the 2026 pool season. The selected vendor will be responsible for operating food and beverage concession services during the pool’s open season, which serves 8,000+ patrons per month, with the majority of users being children. The vendor must provide affordable, family-friendly concession options, ensure quick and safe service, and maintain all required health, safety, and licensing standards. The contract will be valid through September 30, 2026, with three one-year options for renewal upon mutual consent. • The vendor must provide a menu of food and beverage options that are kid-friendly, easy to serve, and appropriate for a public aquatic facility. • The vendor must coordinate with City staff to ensure all menu items and packaging do not interfere with or damage the pool’s filtration system. • The vendor must maintain all required health, safety, and licensing standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • The vendor must supply all necessary equipment, staffing, and operational materials related to concession services. • The vendor must provide a compensation proposal, with a flat fee per month preferred, but all proposals will be evaluated.
