Description
The Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC is seeking quotations from qualified contractors to provide Weld Inspection and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) services on an as-needed basis. The required services include visual weld inspection, phased array ultrasonic testing, shear wave ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing. The services will support the aging utility and process piping infrastructure at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The contractor shall furnish all qualified personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and incidental services necessary to perform the weld inspection services.
The key aspects of this opportunity include:
• The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to perform the weld inspection services.
• The services will be performed on an as-needed basis and only upon authorization from the designated BSA Technical Representative.
• The procurement is being conducted as full and open competition, and award will be made to the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest priced technically acceptable quotation.
• The contractor must complete and return the Quotation Pricing Sheet, which includes prices for all services, materials, and equipment.
• The contractor must also submit the Qualification Criteria, which includes information about the contractor's qualifications, experience, technical capability, personnel, response capability, and ability to successfully perform the requirements of the RFQ.
