Description
The State of Maine Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial and custodial services for the Presque Isle Courthouse for a five‑year period. The contractor must staff a supervisor and janitor each evening, maintain additional backup staff, supply all cleaning equipment and consumables, and meet detailed daily and periodic cleaning standards. The contract is fixed‑price, with the lowest total bid receiving full cost points, and includes optional two‑year renewal periods subject to performance and funding.
• Service period: 11/1/2026 – 10/31/2031 (5 years)
• Daily shift: Mon‑Fri, 5 pm‑9 pm (8 hrs) plus 24 hrs/month of periodic deep‑clean work
• Contractor provides all equipment (vacuum, extractors, blowers, etc.) and supplies; must keep MSDS on‑site and meet OSHA standards
• Subcontracting limited to ≤ 15 % of total work; background checks required for all personnel
