Description
The South Whittier School District is seeking qualified individuals or firms to provide full‑service program and project management for a portfolio of bond‑funded school modernization and renovation projects. The contractor will oversee planning, design, permitting, construction administration, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder reporting, and close‑out for a multi‑year period, acting as the District’s single point of coordination for consultants and contractors.
• Manage all phases of capital projects (roofing, HVAC, electrical, safety upgrades, parking lot expansions, etc.) from planning through completion.
• Provide regular status reports to the Board of Trustees and the Citizen Bond Oversight Committee, maintain schedules, budgets, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Administer contracts, evaluate bids, conduct pre‑bid conferences (if needed), and handle change orders, warranty issues, and final acceptance documentation.
• Supply a staffed office within the District, access to accounting/budgeting systems, and maintain project records and documentation throughout the 3‑3.5‑year term.
