Annual Contract for Concealed Weapons Detector and High Speed Automated Checkpoint X-Ray Systems, Software and Maintenance

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a qualified and experienced vendor to provide concealed weapons detectors and high-speed automated checkpoint x-ray systems, including installation, technical support, software maintenance, and equipment maintenance. The contract is for a twelve-month period, with the option to renew for two additional twelve-month periods. The vendor must provide training on system operation and maintenance, as well as annual software subscription and technical support. The systems must meet specific technical specifications, including the ability to detect firearms and other threat items, and integrate with a stand-alone baggage scanner. • The contract includes the purchase of one dual-lane concealed weapons detector and one high-speed automated checkpoint x-ray system, with the option to purchase additional systems in the future. • The vendor must provide a handheld, portable tablet for immediate image review and monitoring. • The systems must operate on an independent closed network that does not require connection to Tarrant County’s network. • The vendor must provide twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week emergency repair services and annual preventative maintenance.
