Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information for Co-located Hosting Services (CHS) for its Gateway North and East locations. The services include providing facilities for data centers, site surveillance, external traffic access, maintenance support, and operational support. The contractor will be required to provide a like-for-like transition of existing contracted CHS, with the possibility of upgrading services if the existing contracted services have reached end of life. The contractor will also be required to provide support services, including on-site staff, smart hands work, and inventory infrastructure assessment services.
Some key requirements include:
• Providing a secure location with cage and racks
• Meeting TIA-942-B Rated-3 standards for electrical and mechanical systems
• Providing redundant utility and power distribution feeds
• Ensuring 99.999% power availability
• Providing diverse internal and external fiber routes
• Meeting specific cooling and environment requirements
• Providing physical security, including mantraps, dual factor authentication, and onsite digital video camera surveillance
• Providing support services, including on-site staff, smart hands work, and inventory infrastructure assessment services
