RFP 26-01 Structural Engineering Services Term Contracts

The University of Virginia’s Capital Construction & Renovations Department is seeking qualified engineering firms to form consultant teams for term‑contract structural engineering services covering small to medium projects. The work includes comprehensive parking‑structure evaluation (inspection, testing, repair estimating) and broader structural engineering tasks across campus facilities. Multiple term contracts may be awarded under this solicitation. • Provide structural engineering design, analysis, and inspection services for a variety of campus projects. • Conduct parking‑structure evaluations: visual inspections, chloride content analysis, adhesion testing, defect identification, cost estimating, and coordination of repairs. • Deliver all services in accordance with the University’s Higher Education Capital Outlay Manual (HECOM). • Ability to form and manage consultant teams on a term‑contract basis; the university may award one or more contracts. • Work performed on the Charlottesville, Virginia campus.
