Description
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking qualified towing firms to provide on‑call, pre‑positioned emergency towing services throughout the Richmond District. The scope covers heavy‑ and light‑duty wrecker support during winter storms, hurricanes, or other emergencies to clear stalled, abandoned, or stuck vehicles from designated highway locations. Vendors must be able to supply two heavy‑duty wrecker crews and two light‑duty wrecker crews at each of the six specified zones, responding on an hourly basis.
