Dietician Services

The University of Iowa is seeking a qualified dietician to provide services to the Department of Neurology. The successful supplier will be expected to attend the University Department of Neurology amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) clinic, provide quality patient care, assess nutritional status, and collaborate with the ALS/MDA interdisciplinary team. The supplier will also be required to provide recommendations for patients starting enteral feeds and assist University ALS patients with their nutritional needs on an as-needed basis. • The supplier must clearly demonstrate and provide documentation substantiating that they are compliant with the requirements outlined in the RFQL. • The supplier must submit a proposal detailing their process for providing the services described, including their experience and recent history with managing complex ALS patients in an academic Neurology practice. • The supplier must provide audited financial statements and annual report for the previous two years as attachments to their response. • The supplier must comply with all state and federal laws, including HIPAA and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
