Teleradiology Services for the Augusta VAMC

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide teleradiology services to the Augusta VA Health Care System. The contractor will provide board-certified radiologists to interpret images and provide reports. The services will be provided in accordance with the standards and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology. The contract has a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 for the initial fiscal year and a maximum or ceiling of $9.5 million. The contract will be for a period of two years, with individual task orders issued each year. The contractor will be required to provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine scope of practice. Some key points to consider: * The contractor must provide board-certified radiologists who are licensed to practice in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States. * The contractor must ensure that all radiologists are credentialed and privileged in accordance with VHA Directive 1100.20 and VHA Directive 1100.21. * The contractor must provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine scope of practice. * The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies, including those related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
