Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for scale maintenance services at the Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF). The contract term is expected to be 3 years, from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029. Bidders must meet specific qualification requirements, including a C-61/D-21 Machinery and Pumps License and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. The bid package must include all required attachments and documentation, and bidders are advised not to wait until shortly before the bid submission deadline to submit their bid.
• The scope of work includes scale maintenance services, as described in Exhibit A.
• Bidders must submit questions via email to Ms. Zeanna Merilice by January 13, 2026.
• A mandatory walk-through will be held on January 6, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Otay Mesa CVEF.
• The bid due date is January 20, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
• The contract award is subject to a complete review of the entire bid proposal for compliance and adherence to the IFB requirements.
